Delaney's 3rd birthday

Delaney turned 3 this February 5th. I cant believe she is getting so old. She now has a full head of blond hair and it is getting pretty thick in the back. Her vocabulary is broad, and she thinks she knows how to use it to get her way. So we are working hard to set boundaries with her. She is pretty tall now about 39 inches tall. So she is mostly in 4T pants and shirts. She is also completly potty trained now. We started last September, the week of hurricane IKE, with the 3 day potty training method. Needless to say we only got to day two before we evacuated, but she pretty much had it down. She wore a pull up to Dallas and kept it dry for the entire 5 hour drive! http://www.3daypottytraining.com/?PIA66171AYEX I cant speak more highly of this method! It is very worth purchasing this woman's method. It is amazing how well it works. We originally began potty training her May 08 with little constant success. So by June we took a break out of frustration. So any one looking to take the potty training plunge, use this method.

Delaney loves Thomas the Tank engine! It has been about a year now and he is still her favorite toys of all time. For Christmas she got (and Patrick) a train table. She plays with it every day. Some of the tracks make train noises and provides constant entertainment for her.

For Delaney's birthday we met a friend up at a place called Stomping Grounds . It was such a fun place. There were lots of things for the kids to climb on and slide down, all while the moms have a cup of coffee or a snack. It is the best of both worlds, coffee house/playground! Genius.

After Stomping Grounds we came back to our house with Gianna, Delaney and Patrick's friend. Delaney had a little pink princess cake, that the kids loved. And we had dinner. It was a fun day for her.
