Patrick turned two January 2nd. He is becoming such a big hansom boy. He is a sweet blond headed little guy. His vocabulary is exploding right now. He is now speaking in short sentences and his words are getting clearer and clearer. He loves to climb and jump off of things now. Thank goodness we have a playground 4 houses down!
On Patrick's birthday we were still in Dallas for Christmas. We celebrated his birthday with mine (January 1st) on December 31st. Debbie, Adam's mom made a great dinner of Lasagna, yum, and a strawberry cake. Patrick loves loves sweets so his favorite part was the cake. We had all of my family there and Adam's family too. After dinner the kids went outside and threw poppers to ring in the new year. We let them stay up until midnight to see the ball drop but Patrick is the only one who made it.
Then on Patrick's real birthday we make him chocolate chip pancakes with a simile face of whip cream. He loved it and was covered in chocolate. And if that wasn't enough sugar he had a little smash cake all to him self as well. Needless to say he was wired that night. He had a wonderful birthday
