Delaney's Princess day

Tuesday was a very special day. My sister, Whitney, is getting married in May, so Delaney needed to try on some flower girl dresses. So we headed over to Priscilla of Boston in Highland Park. We let her pick out a handful to try on. She felt like a princess. She found "the dress" but Whitney and Delaney had their eye on two different ones. The dress that we picked for the flower girl dress is a sweet, dress with a collar, buttons down the back, with a bow tied in the back. It will be a beautiful fig purple color, which Delaney is thrilled about. The dress Delaney liked was a spaghetti strap pink satin dress with a tulle skirt. The twirling possibility with this dress is what she liked about it along with it being the perfect color, PINK! To top it off the woman who was helping us with the dresses brought Delaney a crown. With the dress ordered we decided to do a few things around the shopping center.
We ran over to Swoozies for a few princess accessories. Then we were off to Corner Bakery for a little lunch. The little princess ordered an egg sandwich.
After we all had full tummies, a little pampering was in order. We drove down the street in search of a nail salon. We found one next door to Aunt Whitney's favorite store. We walked in and they could fit Delaney in. She chose her colors on her own from a wall of many. She went with "A Grape Fit" (purple) and "A Passion for NY Fashion" (pink) The Nail lady added a nice touch of white polka dots. Jen Jen gave Delaney her princess gift she bought for her at Swoozies. It was a crown, a wand, bracelets, and lip gloss.
She had a wonderful day of pampering. All in a day in a life of a 3 year old princess
