First day of School

Delaney and Patrick started “school” this fall. Delaney is enrolled in a mothers day out program at a gymnastic center. I choose them because they offered an educational, Christian environment with an hour of gymnastics a week and an hour of music/movement a week. What could be better than getting a gymnastics class and MDO all in one? She loves her school and wishes they had it more than twice a week. She did miss one whole week from school because she had the flu, and she was so sad. She loves her teachers and the kids in her classroom.

Patrick is doing a Nature explorer class with my moms group. We meet on Tuesdays at parks and nature centers. They start out with a story that goes through the topic of exploration for the day. They they are sent off to discover. This is so right up Patrick’s alley! He loves the outdoors, nature, and dirt. He also likes seeing his friends and running around with them. Then on Thursdays he gets to see them all again we the moms do their book club. It was weird for him at first to be with out his sister by his side. But he is kept busy enough. They love coming together at the end of their days to tell about what they did that day. It is really cute to hear the conversations they have on the way home.
